• Hands-on experience in nucleic acid amplification and sequencing by NGS (Illumina platform)

• Basics of Molecular Tests

2. Nucleic Acid Extraction

• DNA extraction from Blood
• DNA extraction from FFPE tissue
• RNA extraction from Blood

3. Quantification and Quality Check of Nucleic Acids

• DNA and RNA Quantification by NanoDrop Spectrophotometer
• DNA and RNA Quantification by Qubit Fluorometer
• Nucleic Acid Quality Analysis using Gel Electrophoresis

4. PCR Amplification

• cDNA Synthesis from Extracted RNA
• PCR Amplification of DNA
• Gel Electrophoresis of amplified products

5. Real Time PCR Technique

• Real Time PCR Amplification
• Data Analysis

6. NGS (Illumina MiSeq)

• Maintenance Wash
• Standby Wash
• Library Preparation
• Setup run in NGS
